APPLICATIONS This works in the following vehicles that have a proprietary factory USB connection on the back. (See the last pic for a view of the required plug.) It converts that proprietary plug to a standard female USB connection.

Scion (most models): 2008-2015

ADDITIONAL INFO This cable is intended to allow you to play audio through the proprietary USB input on the back of select Toyota and Scion vehicles. It is intended for sound only. It is intended for factory radios only. NOT aftermarket.   You would use it if you're using a Scion/Toyota radio from a different year and/or vehicle and want to take advantage of the USB capability. (Or if your factory USB port or cable is damaged, or if you're trying to relocate it.) See the pictures in this listing. One shows the back of a radio so you can see the plug you must have to use this cable. If you purchase this cable at the same time as a radio (item 391602129511 , for instance), we will refund the shipping charge for this cable and put it in the box with the radio. Purchasing them in two separate transactions and then hoping we'll catch it or that the orders were close enough together does not count as " at the same time "... SHIPPING & HANDLING Shipping cost is based on weight and zip code.  This site does the figuring, not us.  If you feel their calculation is high, you might be underestimating the package weight and/or current shipping costs from our zip code (62401) to yours.  Please don't ding us for shipping in the ratings, as we have no control over ever-increasing carrier rates.
